Was looking at the draft page. Is there a draft scheduled for this Saturday?

I had thought that this league was for next season and we would draft in August.

Not sure what the point would be if we are drafting now, with only 1 week left in the regular season.

If I am in error please advise.

Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure why it had already scheduled a draft but I have changed it. Once the league is full and it gets closer to preseason I will put a thread up on this forum and we will figure out what date & time will work best for the owners. I like to make sure that all owners will be able to show up for their drafts and, in the event that an owner cannot make it, we have owners from our other leagues that may be able to draft for absent owners.

I'm with you in terms of all owners being online for the draft, gets everyone involved from day 1. If they can't then the auto draft feature would be better than someone else doing their draft, that way they can only blame the computer.

What is the keeper policy going to be in terms of for how long? Draft restrictions etc. Trading?

An owner can choose to use autodraft if they please, I personally prefer to have someone draft for me (as long as they aren't in my league) if I can't make it.

There will be 3 keepers per year, no more than one from any given position, no time limits. No restrictions on drafting/trading. Trades will be reviewed by me and I don't interfere with trades unless there is an obvious case foul play. If I feel that there is cause for concern with a trade, I then pass it on to the forum moderators (Mustangs, Norm99 & Gridiron Gal) for further review. If we then feel it needs to go to a league vote, it will then be presented to the league via this forum. I have yet to have this happen. Like I said, I don't interfere with trades unless I absolutely have to.
