Reigning NFL MVP Tom Brady left Sunday's game against Kansas City after being hit on the left leg, depriving the New England Patriots of the quarterback who last season led them to a 16-0 regular season and their fourth Super Bowl appearance in eight years.

Brady suffered a serious knee injury against the Chiefs that will end his 2008 season, reports NFL Network’s Adam Schefter.

With any other sports analyst I'd say this is just speculation but Schefter is rarely wrong. There are reports that Brady suffered damage to both his ACL & MCL.

The NFL Network reports the New England Patriots have placed QB Tom Brady (knee) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2008 season.

One lucky postseason and you Giants fans think that you actually have a team. I would never associate myself with any New York team. Not because of the NY/NE rivalry but because NY fans in general are the most obnoxious, classless fans in the country (present company excluded...I think ). New York is the armpit of America.

Gotta disagree with that statement. Philadelphia fans and Dallas fans are the worst.

And the last time I checked the Giants have 3 Superbowl wins in my lifetime which is equal to the Patriots. You wanna talk luck.... 3 Super Bowl wins by a total of 9 points? I seem to recall the Giants won Super Bowl XXVI with an unknown back-up QB (Jeff Hostetler). Let's see how the Patriots do this year.

And as far as "Armpit" = New York, I do beleive New Jersey is called the "Armpit" of the east. Sandwiched in between 4 major metropolitan areas. But Ill give it to you, Giants Stadium is in New Jersey. But when I tell Tony Soprano you said that, it will be your problem.
