Lynch to the Patriots

Pass physical & Lynch becomes a Patriot - The interest in veteran safety John Lynch (Broncos) has become a contract offer, and now the Patriots report they are simply awaiting the results of a physical to sign Lynch on the dotted line, according to John Clayton of ESPN.com.


This gives the Pats a hard hitting, although very old, combo at safety. With Sanders & Merriwether still learning, I like this signing to help give the youngsters a great opportunity to learn from the best. applause
