Merriman May Be Done

Updating a previous item, Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman (knee) said he has a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Merriman is pondering seeing another doctor Friday, Aug. 22, to gather more information before deciding when and if he will play at all this season.


Other reports have characterized this as "career threatening". I love it, couldn't have happened to a better team. applause
